Create a One-Point Isolation Lockout Step

Follow these steps to create and configure a one-point isolation lockout step in your lockout procedure.

Step 1 – Add an Isolation Point Photo

Double-tap the picture field, then either take a photo of the isolation point or select one from your photo library.

Step 2 – Crop the Photo

Select the Crop button if needed, drag diagonally across the image to crop it, and then tap Save.

Step 3 – Label the Isolation Point

Select the appropriate isolation point label and place it on the image. If multiple isolation points are needed, add additional labels and update the label numbers as required.

Step 4 – Add Directional Arrows

Draw arrows by dragging your finger across the image. To remove a label or arrow, drag it off the image. When finished, tap Save.

Step 5 – Enter Energy Source Information

Double-tap the Energy Type field and enter the appropriate voltage, breaker number, or other identification information.

Step 6 – Add Lockout Device Information

Double-tap the Device field, enter the required lockout device information, and tap Save.

Step 7 – Generate Lockout Instructions

Double-tap the Instructions field and tap Generate to automatically create the default lockout instructions.

Step 8 – Review and Save the Instructions

Review the generated instructions for accuracy, update the location of the isolation point in the first instruction, and tap Save.

Step 9 – Verify the Lockout Step

Confirm that the isolation point photo, labels, energy source information, lockout device details, and generated instructions have been added correctly to your procedure.
